Between 2 and 4 inches of snowfall is expected in Northern Fairfield, with snowfall beginning in the morning before mixing with rain in the afternoon and evening.
Along the coast, 1 to 3 inches is expected.
For New York City, much of the precipitation is expected to fall in the form of rain, with some winter type precipitation expected at the onset during Wednesday morning before the changeover.
